Yeah, you talk about these random boulder fields on the way to Penn. We should check some of those out. Why is it illegal? Is this gov or private land?
It’s a national military park. There was a serious battle in the boulder field during the civil war. Bullet holes are all over the rock. I’ve never had any problems with the rangers, you just can’t use chalk and be really respectful. I usually climb away from the main pile. It’s similar in grit to HP40. I think it’s a hard law to enforce because how can you tell us not to climb and then allow the 100 sniveling little touristy kids that are climbing and fighting all over the rocks that it’s OK. I respect the acts that took place here so I feel I’m good. Watch out for snakes. Megan is holding the camera
