I’ve been the owner of Climb On in Homewood IL for just over the past ten years. Just under twenty years of climbing has evolved into moderate Alpine climbs, long easy trad climbs, and occasional sport. Not much of a boulderer, but I do like to watch a good problem get sent. I’ve been a career firefighter/paramedic for about 19 years (10 more to go and counting). I bicycle commute to work, and along with mountain biking and the occasional century ride, I average 50 – 75 miles a week. Since I’m turning 44 this year, I’m aiming for 4,400 miles in 2008. Sailboat racing is quickly becomming addictive. Can’t wait for summer and Lake Michgan to thaw. Other than that I mostly spend my time trying to raise my kids, (Mary Kathrine & Nicholas) rational, in an irrational world.
