I would be more than willing to do that. Getting a pool of us new guys together would be beneficial because just relying on one person to work with is tough when there are conflicting schedules. Let me know where and when to leave a post.

How about we use the category ‘Forum’ to for finding partners? We can enter ‘partner’ as a tag for all related posts.

Miguel, I don’t like that idea of using ‘Forum’ as much as setting up a ‘Partners’ category. ‘Forum’ is filled with so many other things; it is a discussion of topics… Partnering doesn’t logically fit the category; it’s a little more personal.

I would like it to be its own separate category. That is what would make it work.

Any luck on starting up that post under the forum category for new climbers? I think it’s a good idea and would definitely participate.

I think largesquare really needs to prioritize the PARTNER issue and make it easy. I still think it needs to be its own bold blue category, not something buried in a forum. That’s the only direct way to get it off the ground. Getting PARTNERS up and running will give lots of beginners reasons to start using this social network and bring it to the masses.
