Sweet video! It’s awesome how you get to see him falling, and getting back on.

I’ve always wondered how they rig the slackline across a canyon or something.

Yeah – Harlans got the slacklining dialed in – This particular slackline is set up by hiking up the backside, rappeling to the base of the spire while trailing the line, and climbing the spire, which I think goes at about 5.12 clean, but they mostly aided. Then just attach it to bolted anchors on top of the spire.

Must feel incredibly exposed in the middle of the line!

That’s incredible. Definitely makes me want to hop on the slackline more often. Do you guys have one permanently set up at Climb On?

Not permanently. If someone wants it up, it only takes about 10min. We usually set it up on slow nights, or after/before hours.
