My wife gave birth to a healthy baby boy today at 9:57am. We’ve named him Hans because he is half Han Chinese, and because the word in one of it’s four Mandarin tones has something to do with water (my wife’s last name Yu in one tone means “fish”—so water is obviously a good component), and maybe because he should grow up to have pretty good ”hands”.

Mom is well; 3 year old big-sister Yudora is totally excited; I am soon-to-be sleepless.

ps-Don’t expect me to be summitting any 14ers for a few more years.
