Pet Vitamins

I got my cat the Daily Best Soft Chews from Pet Naturals recently and he absolutely loves them! He’d eat a bunch of them if I let him. He thinks they are treats. I’ve tried powdered vitamins in the past that are supposed to be added to a pet’s food and somehow my cat could always tell they were in there and he’d refuse to eat any of it. So, it’s great to have found a supplement that I can actually get him to consume without any trouble. I’m going to get him the Hairball Relief Soft Chews as soon as I can find them in a store.

Has anyone tried their other products? Do many of you give your pets vitamins?

I really want to try the Calming ones to see if they will make my cat less anxious when we need to take him out to go to the vet, etc. Has anyone tried these or other natural stress-reducers for cats?

What do you feed your cat? Cats are carnivores just like dogs so they need a lot of meat to get the proper vitamins. Also they need a good source of protein and bone for great dental health. The company that I sell for used to feed Zigfreid and Roy’s White Tigers. As far less anxious. Try to find an attachment to the collar that holds lavender oil. It is quite calming.

I give my kittens “Vetri-Science Nu-Cat Soft Chews” which is a multi- vitamin/mineral. My kittens both love them. My kitten Church is crazy about them and he won’t eat any other “treats” except these vitamins! When I open the drawer where the vitamins are kept, he comes running from across the house.

I have tried 4 different calming product for my kittens. Two were chewables, one was a liquid and the last was Feliway spray. None of them seemed to have any effect.

As far as anti-anxiety Composure works well. I have had dogs on it with great success. It’s only going to take the edge off and the Composure does take a few days to work, but well worth it.

I don’t feed vitamins at all. My food has a good set, but I do give my guys System Saver. It’s rockin’ for older dogs or dogs with chronic problems. My Basset with IBD is doing very well! The jury is still out on the Lab…
