The mayor of Los Angeles has passed a law requiring most dogs and cats to be sterilized by 4 months of age. This legislation should help to control overpopulation and drastically reduce the number of unwanted pets being euthanized. The councilman indicated that this is a great step toward making the city completely no-kill. I think they should pass similar legislation across the country!
