Care2.com is holding a contest for “America’s Favorite Animal Shelter”. The winning shelter gets a grand prize of $10,000. I just voted for my local shelter, C.A.R.E. for the Evanston Animal Shelter. The shelter has been trying to expand its facilities to be able to help more animals and $10,000 would go a long way! It is really a great shelter with wonderful volunteers.
