Well, here is my opinion about stray cats…. there should never be a stray cat. But what is one to do… Well check the neighborhood for signs that someone is looking for a lost cat, make sure somehow that the cat is not just roaming and does not actually belong to someone. And then make a decision: Will this cat be happy as an indoor cat as it was used to being outside! If the cat will stay an outdoor cat, will I be able to provide it with adequate shelter, feed it regularly, make sure it will be warm in the winter time and has fresh water …. Then make sure you take it at least once to the vet to have it checked out, for the cats protection and yours… After that open your arms, welcome it and enjoy it…

If the cat is aggressive or destructive you may have to consider bringing it to a shelter, otherwise take good care of it… and they will pay you back with a lot of love … check out my stray cat kitty’s photo – kitty in its basket taking an afternoon nap!
